Well i feel like its a next chapter of my life,
i'm done with blogging about daily rants or updates about my boring life...

Till i can find another reason to blog i will.
Mayb a photo-a-day of my life in Cali.

Whoo hoo ppl i've touched down and in am currently in Singapore.
I think travellers this are the things to look out for:

1) Time zone changes causes me to sleep ALOT
2) Time zone changes causes me to shit and fart alot (No I AM SERIOUS)
3) Mayb for once you bring back fungus and mayb can grow some mushrooms on your face.
4) Pls do not be alarmed but there's a big red patch on my face (be warned)

yup otherwise i'm all good, mom must have missed me,
she puts me on self quarrentine although i've been to CCK polyclinc,
Junction 8 and Skin Centre and in the bus....
Don't worry i feel perfectly fine, and won't go out till end of this week.
Except meeting Jams on 4th July, thats unavoidable sorry. Only a confirmed H1N1 testing would stop me, otherwise i'm meeting her!!!

Anyways the first ppl i met in the airport was my FAMILY and my cuzwuz, she was there to greet me too. Oh and my sis's bf. And boy did grandma not recognise me the nxt morning in the market, asked me who i am -_- (Am i that fat??!)

So i have decided to go on an exercise regime, immediately after my quarrentining days and when my fungus gets better, not that it will spread but i want it to heal faster...
Can't wait to meet all of you guys!
I've already met my 2 loves, Kinee and Juney...
My dad's two god-daughters...

I have to meet Lion in Singapore soon...Coming for him once i can drive the car out!

I'm finally done with my Finals :)
The Lord is good and has provided for me throughout my stay here.
Daiyan hasn't really told u everything.
Daiyan is coming back for summer,
wanted to give surprise, but my mom,
my friends are just too happy that my surprise isn't that surprising...

God has also blessed me with a car,
yes my dear Kenneth i've driven myself around in the States.
Nothing to brag about, its a means of transportation here.
I don't feel ownership over my car,
instead i feel like its still my dad's which it is.

i was just watching some video clips and Singapore slang is so weird too me now,
i'm too used to hearing American accent...
I am still fully singlishfied so no, i won't try to impress any with any slang...
I AM A BLESSED CHILD :)

i am happy i am in America,
and i am happy i'm going back :)

Randomly, i feel like blogging about being conscious...
What am i consciously thinking all the time?
My words are too jumbled and thoughts too mixed, probably blog another time.
Its 3am and i need to drive my roomie to school later!
I'm heading off to slp, but soon i will be back in Sing, await for me dear friends.
I suddenly wanna meet my Tobys, my true pink, my late night partner, soap and ahnene and matthew, i'm so surprised u actually read my blog, the constant drop of messages by Mann, Sha, Hans, Nunus. And here and there my church mates, cell grp and really i just miss u guys

In the Bay Area

Its almost end of spring and coming summer,
Days are getting longer.
Living in Singapore,
you only knew the sun starting to rise at 630am,
and the sun sets about 730pm.

Sometimes it gets pretty confusing,
i wake up every morning at 630am
and the sun is shining brightly into my room.
I don't even know what time is the sunrise without googling it.
5.50am it rises and around 8.30pm it sets.

Thats not all,
everything here is expensive,
food is the same price or slightly pricer than in singapore but,
i guess u forgot the 1.5 currency exchange rate behind that.
Food court??! never heard of, its all restaurants.

but some how or rather, i'm sinking into it.
I've learnt to save, i've learnt to enjoy the natural suburbaness of these place,
rather than the fast paced city life in Singapore.

Ironically i still yearn to go home when i saw those smses before i left the airport on 8th March 2009

WISE TOOTH

SO its a few more weeks to my finals... i'm scoring an average B no idea if its a plus or minus or coming C!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH....
Its damn stressful,
not only that if you haven't updated yourself with FB,
I lost CHELLEY'S IPHONE,
i'm sorry!!!!

I went shopping at Santana Row,
and i BADLY WANTED TO PEE,
(if i didn't pee nothing would have happened)
so i went into bubba tea store, left things on table with friend,
took phone into toilet with me
cleaned the seat washed hands,
totally forgot the phone and went to buy bubble tea.
AND THEN I thought, OH YA CALL MY FRIEND,
thats when i realised my phone wasn't with me...

I've moved on from being UBER sad,
now i'm paranoid at losing my stuff,
i should make a checklist before and after i leave home SERIOUSLY

And also i'm running a fever,
i think my damned wisom tooth is the cause of it.
Please pray that it doesn't affect me to go tan tock seng for checkups when i'm back!!

hello i'm not dead yet...

Just been very busy with school lately...
I've an essay due tomoro but ironically, i don't feel like writing there,
instead i feel like writing in my blog.

I've shifted in to my new place with a new housemate...
Our toaster went on fire,
i've cooked on our new stove,
been slping late and waking up at 630am EVERY MORNING,
including sats and suns,
HATES my bath FIXED TIMING,
am unable to wash my clothes tomoro because of a fixed day and timing to wash them...

Ah there's no place better than home :)
I'll be back soon just you wait..

Y swine flu is bad here...

Nurse: Yes how may i help you?

Dyan: I would like to see a doctor?

Nurse: You don't look sick...

Dyan: *stares blankly at here????*

Nurse: Ok what have you got?

Dyan: er flu?? common cold? fever?

Nurse: How do you know you got a flu?

Dyan: *even more speechless than before, the whole small office was just looking at her*
hello??!!! how do i know when i'm sick?? i have green snoot, i feel dizzy and i cough like crazy??!
(of coz i just stood there speechless)

Nurse: Well if you want i can take your temperature, but if you don't have a temperature you can leave.

Dyan: *utterly speechless at this point*
(waited for 10 mins and still no attention, left and went to take something frm somebody and came back)

Nurse: *waves for dyan to come over*

Dyan: sits and lets her take temperature
(*99.8 degrees fahrenheit)

Nurse: Oh you really do have fever!
*embarrassed at this point took a whole bunch of sinus pills and shove it in my face*
go home take a bunch of this will do bye!

The good, the bad and the Ugly

OH MAN,
Like for the 3rd and hopefully the final time I AM MOVING!!!!
Packed my bags yet again, theres like tons of things that i own...
Moving to a place, where there's lots of rules,
not like my current host but its much bigger
and i'm going in with a roomie i'm more comfortable with
AND DEFINITELY CHEAPER!

Y my recent lack of updates,
1 reason, i think too many ppl are reading,
actually i don't even know who exactly reads any of my nonsense anymore
and 2 not enough time to blog.

3rdly I FELL SICK AGAIN,
i blame it on the Combos,
i had too much of it and too little water...
ONE FINE DAY, my damn bloody nose will get back on me!
i know i know, drink more water! i will i will...
i think becoz i took only 2 modules this quart, i'm not as stressed as my friends are.
but yea i'm still adjusting.
Friends here are pretty ok,
is it becoz of age or experience or...
I don't know, but sometimes they seem kinda weird,
NOT THAT I'M NOT WEIRD MYSELF,
but...

SO anyways, i'm getting myself a car,
I KNOW I DID SAY I WON'T GET,
but u don't know how inconvenient it gets,
waiting for buses almost 30 mins,
then there's also where i live, tts a problem, no street lamps,
you can't expect me to bring a torchlight out with me...
And anyways the bus don't operate till late like Spore.

I have to depend on nice friends to drive me around,
AND YOU KNOW HOW DYAN HATES DEPENDING ON PPL!
and then u have to see or feel their face and presence,
though i don't say it but that FEELS PRETTY DARN AWAKWARD AND DISTRESSING!
AHHHH yet at the same time, I know that i'm spending alot DADDY!
but i can't help it, really...

Many has asked y i don't have any more pictures?
I think my passion for photography has totally died,
I CAN'T TAKE ANY PHOTOS (coz i can't go anywhere) and i'm really sad tt my powershot died on me...
Mayb after i get my car i can leave my camera in there,
and there will be more snappy snappy...

My overseas experience,
I probably haven't talked much on it.
Other than the negative things i've said in the past,
actually its an experience i am blessed with.

SO whats it like here?
Basically living out on my own,
I definitely wouldn't want to send my kid overseas too early,
(actually depending on maturity level)
Its really an experience (THANKS PA!).
I think i can live independently now,
you wash up and look after yourself.

You take care of your own finances,
you are at your own defense and you kinda make the last decision.
(other than the money i now spent which is my dad's)
Which at the end of the day comes back to me who has to repay them...
SO SPEND WISELY!

Yes you are right,
most of the international students are wealthy,
and really, i probably am from a different world,
I come from NAFA, still an arts instituition.
VERY DIFFERENT!

Sum it all up, i like what i'm doing,
and i Hope it will get even better as the days pass...
If you can i urge you to take that step and experience something new,
and really its makes you grow up, whether you like it or not!

I feel that after arriving in the US,

seriously there's nothing much i've done special enough to blog about.

Ok i've 2 good friends now, Frog and Genie,

Yes we hang out almost everyother day...

we eat, eat and eat...

basically tts bout it...

Oh ya and i'm moving out out,

to somewhere nearby, a bigger house with tennis court and swimming pool

HEAHEA with Genie as my roomie,

so much cheaper and BIGGER AND MORE PRIVICY...

Although things in my current house has more or less settled down but i think its better to move... Some more the new host are installing a private kitchen for us, y not?!

AND i'm GONNA GET A CAR!!

i know i said i shouldn't get it at first,

but you hardly can go buy like shampoo and soap,

y? because either there's no bus home,

or i have to ask a friend to send me there??!!

And you know how much i hate depending on others...

Its so hard to get into the universities la,

i'm scared myself,

currently i have Bs for Math and Eng.

And this is what i found out:

A is average

B is Bad

C is cannot make it

D is you can go and Die

If you don't know,

people with GPA 4.0 is average and are rejected by Berkley,

u need to have an ultra good resume, with internships,

positions of certain clubs, know certain sports,

be damn it involved and run for some election shit and mayb,

just mayb u get that 1% chance of getting in, kill me can?

This is how serious everyone is, its damn hard to get into these damn good schools la!!!

i've never worked my ass off this hard before....

The Lord will provide!!!

i HATE THEM SERIOUSLY!

cold!!

ya one moment it was hot, there was a heat wave going on,
now its cold again!
at night the weather drops to about 9 degrees,
almost like winter time when i first got here...

So yes school's fine, I failed one of my Math test,
God tt was horrible,
totally can't understand their English.
They seriously love beating around the bushes...
Totally hate it...
But i've been having great fun...
Thank the Lord for i have good friends,
despite the many other negative things around :)

i've really nothing much to say,
other than the fact i'll be attending a charity gala event tonight!!!
