Growing up...

Met Nurul yesterday, i forgot how it felt like to party, i really forgot how to shop too.

Anyways, had my 2nd worship prac yesterday with Marcus and Hazel (YF).
Its really amazing that time really flies and we all grow up, we learn new things, we learn to be more matured in looking at different perspectives as when we were younger.

I've a few of my youths communicating through e-mail and i know of friends who also in a sense counsel or have one-on-ones with younger teens and we just talk and hang around them.
We always think that anyone younger is like OH more lame, not fun, boring, whatever... sometimes we really never give them a chance to express themselves?

Mayb its just me growing up in an environment where feelings ar always being surpressed.
I still ain't allowed to shout (tts y you almost seldom, or nv hear me scream) unless if emergency, but it has come to a point where scary rides wouldn't even work my screams. Yes Sophia Sim, if you're ever reading this those shouts of your name ar rather for fun (i still feel your name is nice to shout! =P). Maybe that is why nobody ever tells them that its ok to express how they feel, encourage that its alright to be expressive at the appropriate time.

Was reading one of the Christian blogs, it really is amazing how his words can heal, touch, change someone's life. (thats y sometimes i feel the internet is such an amazing invention and intervention) I think LOVE is just the right word, to touch people around us. See the needs of the people, feel together with them but of cause first loving God and yourself would give you a clearer view.

went swimming with Jia Xing today, gdness knows all my muscles are aching!
Later another swimming session with Sharon Serena and Jia Xing again,
i think will be less on swimming and more on playing but yea its gd,
need to invest in suntan lotion. (reminder to self)

Just staying at home for this past few weeks has been surprisingly insightful.
used to question what life would bring and where God is leading me too.
I've learnt tt actually God will pave the way and that we should just rely on Him,
rather than trying to figure it out yourself.
In His time and especially in His pace.

I guess i've just slowed down :)

Latest update...

I realised after being sick, my post ar updates on me being sick.
No matter how sunny and cheery i am, i'm grounded till like i'm better,
so peeps i'm sorry for lack of visuals or anything exciting bout my life.

Cause i'm pretty much a dried up corpse at home :P
Ok anyway, i'm thankful i still get to walk around, it ain't tt bad.
God has finally made me slow down my pace of life and i'm back on track.

Ya so today i went back to the all too familiar place,
the nurses recognise me now...
Thought i had tonsilitis but no doc says mine is infected frm the outside.
Means it ain't my tonsils that are causing the trouble, they are just infected by whatever infection which still is in my body.

Please pray, seriously i tink everything is caused by stomach/gastric, hopefully its not.
Review nxt week, after my course of another type of antibiotics.
Steriods are the worst bitter tasting medicine ever! YUCK!

I'm very thankful, i was brushing my teeth today and felt like looking how bad my sore throat was...
To my surprise...
i found my tonsils swollen.

I'm just thankful i've got a very healthy body inside its just some silly tonsilitis...
Will get well soon and be out and about :)

busy-ness no more

took 2 tests.
Blood and Urine.

Blood showed high white blood cell count (meaning body trying to fight back whatever that is attacking my immune system) so doc suspected urine infection which lead me to nxt test.

Urine was cleared, no problems. Negative.
Nxt suspected gall bladder. Somehow huge hunge i've got something wrong down there too, but for now under antibiotics.

Not at church camp either. Stuck at home. Became a cooped up chicken since last week. Lord please save me. Not only do i wanna lead my healthy live again, i want my life back as in my usual energy to go out and have fun instead of snoozing all day all night. Even coming online is a chore.

Going to research a bit on my symptoms will be slping. Peeps please reach me on my cell. Not coming online till at least i can stay up long enough.

busy-ness

am still sick. bloated yesterday when to hospital to consult again, i tink i've been healthy for too long. Please pray for my speedy recovery.

Have funeral to attend won't be in church this Sunday, cause immediate family, must be there...

church camp 4-7th June
wedding 9-10th June
All will be in malaysia, might only be able to meet ppl the following week.

ha, can't believe it, grandma ate my prawn crackers??!! she usually says its hard and she is wearing dentures...How cute can she get... and all the while i thought the predators were my mum and sis, so wrong...ok all chips gonna be hidden in room. Sorry i just don't like ppl to take things without my knowledge... ok gonna use stronger words HATE IT. But i love her so its fine la, at least she admitted...

oh btw, eyeballs pain, don't say its ridiculous, its not its a symptom...

Primary 4C

Was at a pri sch today.
My first hand experience of working with primary 4 students, teaching them drama.

First was quite apprehensive, whether i'm up to it or whether i can control the kids, mayb the kids hated me and whether some of them is gonna be "Bochap"

But it was a blessing, more or less everyone participated, the kids were a bit noctorous though, lots of fighting crying and blaming going on.
I realised kids know a lot of bad words this days, out right backstabbing, voices and diaghram bigger than mine (i'm gonna lose my voice soon).

Despite all of this, they were my angels on stage and in my hearts. I think ours was the worst performance, not even dramatic reading, but i'm happy all of them got up on stage even. Most memoriable moments, they gave me trinklets, i mean they may not be the most expensive things but they ar the most treasured things that i will keep because you know you made a difference and helped them experience something new.

Shatec was where we started off, to support chelle, my egyption love. She gave me a milk bath ;) (wait before i continue, I'm SERIOUSLY BLOATING. anyway...) mmm we went to India, Hawaii, Japan, Spain and finally Egypt. Too bad, chelley is under the control of Pharoh who wants her to dance till 6pm.

Went to eat at Ms Clarity Cafe, introduced by Wee Siong, thanks great food :_) must try, tt chocolate thing, i can't remember whats it called, chocolate lava or something.

Kudos to Wee Siong, he took the first photo. These were the 2 mains we ordered. Love the fish more than the chicken though but they were both special dishes that shld be tried. Didn't take a photo of tt dessert though.

Yes the toy museum, it was filled with toys from all over the world, through different time periods. ULTRA COOL...

Apparantly this are all forbidden photos, until we ended our trip did i realise that no photography was allowed but nobody stopped me but i shan't put up anymore photos :p you can request to see it on my camera though.

OOOH OH OH, this must be the coolest thing i saw, 2 really unique toys that were on display!

I'll definitely go back for my 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th time for this. SERIOUSLY. ok 1 thing though, if you're running out of cash don't bother going there. Its on the pricey side but once you get your allowance GO!

Supposed to get my perm crown, didn't fit. Trip to Mr Handsome wasted and painful, didn't inject local anastesia while doing another temp crown. OUCH!

Cut my hair short again, don't be too shocked ppl, photos not up, haven't retrieved my stuff on the other hard disk, can't upload photos. damned laptop can't go online cause same prob motherboard died and just repaired... Also to all peeps who has stepped into the war zone of my room, ITS CLEARED! seriously, Manna if you ever come across my blog you are freed frm cleaning up my room :)

Also had a night out with my lovelies, we're meeting every Wed, its our thing together, love them, waiting for chelle to send me photos of us and my DEADLY UGLY RED NAILS hahahah!Our juney went overseas until June then coming back. She really working like Ugly Betty ar hahaha kidding la, she's my lil' miss pretty who has changed alot! i don't know what da ji that she changed so much but its for the better. Chelle also another hot babe, she's soon gonna be a boss of her own la, very independent lady who has so much she wants to do... arh growing up, all of us are growing... its really a blessing to have known you for like 7 years already?
