Ya Gon Learn Chinese

So school started and school's a lil' tough after my FANTABULOUS SUMMER BREAK!
It ended with a Bang Bang PEUUUUUU...

I went to Lake Tahoe dude!!

Awesome time I had there, I did parasailing, white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking....
AWESOME, got my summer tan and got to know more White guys...
OMG SOUTH LAKE TAHOE in the summer only has HOT WHITE GUYS...
Not that i'm paricularly interested hey more eye candies right?

Watch out for my pictures on fb...

So yes I'm taking Chinese classes now,
like huh? ZDY what are you doing????
And no i'm not taking advanced Chinese classes,
I'm taking like introductory to Chinese class HUR HUR HUR :P
Well i'm just doing for transfer purposes and it is the most interesting class i have so far,
know why?

CAUSE I ROCK AT IT (:
but yea seriously it beats learning with a bunch of asians, when theres a mix of people
and the way they all learn are so different.
Probably my only relaxing class out of all the mods i'm taking.

Jet Lagged and bored

I haven't had any jet lagged until this time when i returned. It doesn't feel any different, only probably you feel bored waking at 3-5am in the morning thinking what to do and feeling really tired at 7pm every night. Funny why its these times, totally not related to the day and night half way across the world...

So i conclude that JETLAG is a BITCH

For those who know, updates, F changed his phone number and called me, GOD, I PRAY FERVANTLY that he doesn't find me nor stalk me nor be friends with me, I've decided to end everything even that friendship. ARGH... enough is enough (you know i usually don't end friendships but thats a period to this one)

Aside from these, I MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS my friends, family and BABY back home

Conclusion to everything that I've found out from my time in Singapore? I choose to ignore, not because i'm ignorant but because there's so much more things in life i want to be appreciative and happy about, rather than having to worry about and care about. That also doesn't mean I don't care either, but personal decisions are yours to make, not to be influenced nor forced upon.

I see displeasures, i see anger, i see hatred, i see fear, i see frustrations, i see disappointment and most of what i saw WAS happiness. What can i do in this short period of time? Apologies won't sound sincere, appreciation, would be misunderstood, celebration, would be inappropriate.

I wish to shout GROW UP but who am I to say? When I know I'm one of those who needs it too!
Forgive and forget is still my moto, the friendship of xx years overwrites all else. And I still love you <3

AH!!!

I'm so irritated by these black flies i had to blog at 3:57AM!

Firstly these dumb flies are DUMB, they don't fly fast enough and they stay in that position for you to kill them.

Second they don't do anything other than create a black stain-like shape on the beds/walls/clothes/etc. (not counting the stain they create after u smash them)

Third they die by themselves and you see their motionless body littered all over the floor...

SO WHY DO THEY EXIST?!

I've decided to do occassional Book Reviews...
And mayb if you're interested I could sell them at less than Half price, since they are second hand books, I've got a growing library in my biggest cupboard and there's over 30 books I haven't read and more to come...

Stir Of Echoes by Richard Matheson
(Also author of I am Legend)

It reallyis a book that gives you a lucid imagination as the thoughts of the protagonist is being revealed to the readers. Tom Wallace lived an ordinary life but an event took place that triggered his psychic abilities he never knew he possessed. Hearing others' private thoughts, secrets revealed could be his scariest nightmare as messages are compelling to come from beyond the grave! If you're digging for a thriller type of book, this is the one for you. A short read I would say and this book came from the library, so not on sale/or for loan at my place (:

The Nature of Alexander the Great by Mary Renault

Totally a good historical read. The book was first published in 1979. Up till now, i find it really interesting as it is an unconventional way of bringing Alexander the Great to readers. It brought me from the first page to the last page through all the battles he has gotten through. The walk with his family from Macedon to Troy to Persia and lastly to India. Then his last march to Babylon. Most of the biography came from Arrian who knew Alexander as an intimate friend, general and possible half brother. A loyal leader amongst his troops and one courageous to fight and conquer many empires to build his own. Read on if you would like to know more bout him, or the era around 356BC-323BC. Again I borrowed this from the library, so you would be able to find it in the regional libraries.

Touristy talk

So i've been here for so long and I haven't done any touristy talk about what I've done...

Anyways today was really hot,
usually up in SF its cold but it was wooo HOT!
Maybe becoz i'm the coz of global warming (HAHAHAHA, you know i'm kiddin right)
So finished hmwk at 5am and slept and woke at 7am
Travelled a good 45mins to SF and reached at 10am.
Met TLam and went to pick PP.

And for the first time ever (yes i've been here for a yr)
I stepped into Castro, the very famous gay street
and found the church TLam goes to called
"Reality SF" good worship!
Then we walked a little and ate Indian food,
Second time this week...but its good!

And we saw baby shirts "Diaper loading", "Ipood", "Potty Like a Rockstar!"

And we had a good talk about Palladium (check out the periodic table)
with our very own chemist, and ex-architecture student about SF Academy of Science building and MOMA and the exploratarium. Of which i've yet to visit 2 of them.

then we headed off to the twin peaks,
as mountain as a tortoise as I am, it was my virgin trip!
Gosh the view? FANTASTIC, and i forgot my camera WONDERFUL!
After which we came down for some ice-cream at Bi-Rite Creamery.
Gosh best thing ever! Earl grey tea is the bomb and honey lavender shld be gone!

And then right before we sent PP to her friend's brother's graduation,
we stopped by at blue bottle, to get the best coffee.
As blastingly full as I am, I had to give that up!
God loves me so much to bless me with a fun-filled Sunday.
Although i used my lousy cellphone camera but I hope it has made you a wee bit interested in comin to visit this place (:
