Today, while walking from the MRT back home, on the way I met groups of people. One a teenager he was sitting on the steps, when I walked past, I realized his legs were covered with wet stuff which I presume is vomit. Obviously I smelt alcohol, a couple was standing over him, and I do not know what is going on, because I had my MP3 earpiece in my ear.
Another group of people were sitting on the curb, at some void deck near my house, with the middle lady crying, again I smelt alcohol and they were talking kind of loud, because I could hear murmur-ing through my earpiece.
Just a song dedicated to people who are down and out, for what ever reason, but this song was playing while I met both groups of people (by the way they are not far away from each other but far away enough to not know that someone was in the same situation as theirs).
*I took out the 1st paragraph
Go on now go walk out the door
just turn around now
'cause you're not welcome anymore
weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye
you think I'd crumble
you think I'd lay down and die
Oh no, not I
I will survive
as long as i know how to love
I know I will stay alive
I've got all my life to live
I've got all my love to give
and I'll survive
I will survive
It took all the strength I had
not to fall apart
kept trying hard to mend
the pieces of my broken heart
and I spent oh so many nights
just feeling sorry for myself
I used to cry
Now I hold my head up high
and you see me
somebody new
I'm not that chained up little person
still in love with you
and so you felt like dropping in
and just expect me to be free
now I'm saving all my loving
for someone who's loving me
Olivia is the new intern, we had fun
I laughed sooo hard for the 1st time in a long while, thanks to Mary, Olivia and the other colleagues.
I’m gonna bring my camera to work on Friday.
And sorry girls but I shopped again today.
I’m in high spirits!
*Thank you Lord, for speaking to me*
